Jameel Saleem has an extensive background in the film industry where he has     acquired more than six years experience in production and screenwriting. After achieving success on various local TV and film projects, Jameel relocated from Baltimore, MD to Los Angeles in 2007. After working with Alpha Dog casting director and co-producer Matthew Barry, Jameel decided to pursue his own creative interests in filmmaking and established Saleem Films January 2008.

Impressed with Jameel’s talent and drive, award-winning music video director and filmmaker Chris Robinson (ATL) supplied camera equipment for his first short film, LET GO, Winner of Best Dramatic Short Film at the 2008 First Glance Film Festival and an Official Selection at the 2008 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Jameel is currently in development of multiple feature films.
